This is a round glass dome.  It measures 8 x 5″ high.  This is our premium quality dome.

Round glass domes come in a variety of sizes. We stock round glass domes starting at 1 7/8”, 3”, 4”, 4 ½”,5 ½”, 8”, 10”, 12” and 15”. We also have sizes in between in some cases to fit special applications.

We have the ability to cut any new glass dome to your height specification for a nominal charge. If you don’t see your exact height needed contact us and we will try to help.

A good source for antique glass domes can be found in antique stores. Sometimes you find a store that has several and others who are afraid of their fragile nature and refuse to carry them. The ones who think they are fragile are willing to give a good discount just to get rid of them.

Many of the movies produced today have glass domes and antique clocks as furniture display items in the background. Once you appreciate their quality your eye will catch them in the movie.
